/ 01 A NATURAL HOME
THE TOURNAMENT
A natural home
for The Legacy
Open.
For The Legacy Open, Fancourt is more than a backdrop. It is central to the event's identity. The tournament has been conceived around the idea that players and their families should feel part of something carefully hosted, not simply booked.
The intended experience is one of arrival, welcome, competition, hospitality and celebration — within a single premium destination.

/ 02 Championship Golf
A tournament arc
across three
courses.
The Legacy Open has been designed around competition on Fancourt's celebrated championship courses — Montagu and Outeniqua for the qualifying rounds, Plate Final to be held back on Outeniqua, with The Links reserved for the Championship Final and the pinnacle moment of the tournament.

Beyond the Golf Course
A destination,
not a venue.
A defining strength of The Legacy Open is that it extends well beyond the fairways. Fancourt allows for hospitality, dining, leisure, wellness and family programming that would be difficult to achieve at a conventional golf venue — and welcomes the wider family beyond the two players on each team.

The ambition is to position Fancourt not simply as the venue, but as the host destination of The Legacy Open. This integrated approach supports a more cohesive event experience, where golf, accommodation, functions, hospitality, family programming and brand presentation all feel connected — with clear benefits for every party.
